Store PUR hot melt adhesive at a temperature between 8-22 degree in a dark and dry place, avoiding excessive humidity. Do not use damaged packaging.
1. Before using PUR glue, check the integrity of the vacuum packaging. Do not use if there is a leak.
2. Allow the adhesive to return to room temperature before use.
3. Preheating: Preheat the adhesive without removing the aluminum foil (usually 5-15 minutes). Alternatively, preheat the well-
packaged adhesive in an oven, recommended temperature control is 100 degree .
4. After preheating, pick out the adhesive residues at the top and bottom of the PUR adhesive tube before use.
5. Clean the surface of the bonding area, removing oil, dust, coatings, mold release agents, oxide layers, and other substances that
1. Dispensing temperature and air pressure for PUR hot melt adhesive vary depending on the project; consult KY technical personnel for specific details.
2. Use stainless steel nozzles whenever possible, with the inner diameter of the nozzle depending on the specific project.
3. Before installing the nozzle, dispense a small amount of adhesive to ensure normal operation.
4. The length of the nozzle exposed outside the heater should not exceed 3mm.
Note: It is recommended not to exceed continuous heating for 4 hours in general. Do not repeatedly heat the same adhesive tube more than three times. Prolonged heating may cause the rear part of the adhesive tube to crust, in which case the crust can be punctured to reduce dispensing pressure.
Apply PUR01 to the surface of the bonded part at the dispensing temperature. Once the position of the bonded part is determined, press the two parts together within the open time to achieve initial bonding.
